Here I go man with my second chapter of life and my personal improvement. 1. Shutting the door (not locking it) on yesterday for today.Today Im starting the 60 day for my new career

I’m about to get on that 60 day. I’ve been cold calling for a couple of weeks now but I want to make sure I have some structure to it
Hey Aaron, nice to meet you! How do you like the Cold Calling? I don’t mind it at all, I was a contractor here in NJ. for 32 years! I got into RE Sales in 2011 for about 18 mo. went back to contracting then I got relicensed beginning of 22. That’s awesome, did you get started? How long have you been in Real Estate? Where are you located?
honestly, the cold calling doesn’t bother me that much, but the money is in the follow-up (that’s what i’m told at least). that’s where it gets a little more difficult because you’ve got to be organized and have a system for following up with the contacts you made when cold calling. weekly email is good, but you also need the occasional text, phone call, and snail mail – especially for the people who say they may be doing something soon. so anyway, the follow up schedule is something i’m working on now. also, working different types of leads like FSBO and expired. I don’t want to leave anything on the table to I’m working on establishing a schedule where I can touch FSBO, expired, and circle prospect cold calls daily. It’s a lot of FKing work but i’m just having faith that eventually it’ll snowball and result in success.
Dude!, My Brother, just keep the faith!!! And like Ricky says keep going!!! I know what you mean though… Um just out of curiosity, how old are you, have you worked anything besides RE? and last where you located and how long have you been doing this? I’m 56, and I think I mentioned I was a Contractor in NJ… I’ve got to say, as hard as this is, its a joke compared to digging footing, laying block, Roofing, Hanging Drywall ETC. Of course after you do that work for awhile you don’t feel it anymore, its just another day on the job. This will be the same and as you make money you get people or things to help get your nose off the grind stone sorta speak. I think you should ask Ricky for a better way to juggle follow ups. A good CRM may help organize and/or even make contact with your clients or future clients. or perhaps a virtual assistant. I don’t know how long you’ve been going or what your working with cash wise, but that’s where I’m heading once I start making some dough again. We are very lucky to have somebody like Ricky man, before I knew about him I was about to pour 3 G’s on a guru for training. 3 G’s I didn’t have but in business you have to spend money to make money LOL. The first time I got involved in RE, I joined a Mom and Pop Shop. I mean literally, it was me and Mom, with no training, learn as you go! I sat there for months not knowing my ass from my elbow LOL. That’s hard after knowing everything about construction then knowing nothing, I felt like an idiot. But I had 2 guys out working for me and I showed up everyday. In 12 months I sold 3 homes, got 2 listings, Im don’t know how many rentals, there good for quick money, I did a ton of BPO’s with no formal training. So I’d bet the farm if you keep pumping that snowball will come!!! I mean thats what I’m betting on. I’ll catch up with ya later bud, stay in touch since we’re both starting out together. Tom
