Good question. I’m interested to hear peoples thoughts on this also. Haven’t ran into this yet personally because I’ve mostly called FSBOs so far but I’m thinking I would say something along the lines of “I apologize if that is the case, I wasn’t calling to solicit anything, I was just reaching out because I sold a property in your neighborhood (or whatever your reason) and just wanted to see if there was anything I could help you with today?”  There may be a better way to go about it though. I’m curious to see what others say.

I have only had it mentioned once and I said oh sorry sometimes my filter doesn’t update DNC. Then I just say no worries I will remove you.

Raymond if you are following the informative script and not asking for business that doesn’t necessarily violate the DNC.   If you are calling and saying I wanted to let you know about the home just listed down the street and ask if there is anything you could do for them this is not a DNC violation informative not selling
