    Hello everyone…hope you are doing great! It took me over 2hrs but finally I sat down and made 147 calls, talked to 35 people and 5 emails. I found a couple of mean ones. This particular one I asked ” How are you doing? he responded “horrible because you are bothering me and did not know how to respond to that…any suggestions? P.S. I cut and pasted the photo of the call not sure if you can read it. Sending 10 thank you notes !!! Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Good Night.

    • Amazing work! I’ve actually stopped asking people “how are you today” unless I’ve spoken to the prospect a few times. Unfortunately asking this with new prospects triggers sales resistance.

    • My response would of been something like. I’m sorry to hear that. I’m definitely not here to bother you (slight chuckle) . I want to know what can I do for you today? Then see if that stirs the conversation. I have a call center back ground worked for Amex for over 15 years. Sometimes people just want you to stroke their egos a little. Speak w/ a smile and try to joke a little w/ them it helps a lot. Not everyone is going to be happy unfortunely. All we can do is try and if its not working end conversation w/ something positive and move on to the next! We’re not going to win them all.
